Initially, Finnish chef Marc Aulén who runs a soup restaurant Qulma in Helsinki wanted to have his previous soup book with newly designed english version. As he was adding some texts and ideas for the new version, he decided to change the book concept into a completely different Helsinki guide book though his unique view. To capture his enthusiastic and energetic resources, we involved in diverse scales from the very beginning of the concept throughout the division of chapters. The Helsinki Book introduces 12 categories of chef’s pick places with equally dynamic illustrations and icons.
